Working together to develop the next generation of expert teachers

Welcome to the University of Sunderland Mentor Microsite! Please access the posts below to discover our wide range of resources to support you across your mentoring journey here at UoS. The bullets below highlight some of the essential links which you will also find across posts.

  • As a UoS Mentor, it is your responsibility to ensure you have completed the Mentor Audit Survey. Responses will be monitored, and you will be contacted if you fail to complete the audit.
  • Our Mentor drop-in sessions offer a weekly touch point for both internal and external mentors. These are held on a Monday at 5pm via Teams.
  • The Mentor Handbook provides you with essential course information such as the structure of our course, teaching requirements, module content and your roles and responsibilities as a mentor. It will also clarify trainees’ responsibilities and identify specific areas where they may need guidance from their mentors.
